Hillary ducks

Hillary had to duck yesterday as a woman in the audience in Las Vegas made her way up to the stage and threw something at her. Drudge linked to the Mail Online, which reported this morning that it was a shoe. The Mail reports,
She also threw a stack of papers in the air and a spectator who said it appeared to be a confidential Defense Department report from 1967 that detailed an operation called 'Cynthia' that took place in Bolivia. The woman, whose mugshot shows has short brown hair, was pictured being escorted away while wearing a long platinum blonde wig and a figure-hugging blue and black dress.
Here is the mug shot of the woman who threw the shoe. Her name is Alison Ernst.

Steve Marcus from the Las Vegas sun took this photo of Ernst as she was being led away from the scene.

The Mail has more information about Ernst, who also disrupted a hearing in Colorado for James Holmes, the person who massacred people in an Aurora Colorado theater.
Update: Hillary was supposed to be the keynote speaker today in San Diego at the 17th Annual Western Healthcare Leadership Academy. Barbara Boland reports that Hillary cancelled her visit in the midst of planned protests from San Diego locals and military families. "Pat Smith lost her son, Sean Smith, during an attack in Benghazi and plans to be at the center of the protest," Fox reports.

Hillary Clinton testified to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on January 23, 2013, "What difference...does it make?" when she was questioned about the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi. Hence, the group's name: "The Difference Matters."
